This specially adapted version of Toni Mount’s popular talk explores Christmas in a Medieval household. Based on her original research using primary sources, she looks at everyday life in the middle-ages and in this, the popular customs, food and pastimes associated with yuletide celebrations. The talk is presented in period costume.

Toni Mount is an experienced teacher, speaker and author; her subjects cover our history from Roman Britain to the 1950’s. She has a degree in history from the University of Kent and currently teaches history for the WEA in Tunbridge Wells and Petts Wood and runs her own weekly class in Rochester
